What's Included in Every Inspection
Every inspection includes:
- Inspection performed at low tide, when the wall face, walers, and tiebacks are exposed and can be properly assessed
- On-site visual inspection of the full structure: cap, face, walers, pilings, tiebacks, and hardware
- Structural stability and material condition assessment
- Erosion, soil displacement, and drainage review behind the wall
- Water seepage and intrusion check
- Compliance review against your township's bulkhead requirements
- Written report with photos, condition ratings, and prioritized repair recommendations, delivered within a week or less, depending on tides and availability
- Phone walkthrough of the findings with you, your buyer, or your contractor
Inspection fees start at $250. The final price depends on the scope of the inspection and the distance traveled.
